Victorian Tent and Waterfall Chandelier

A Victorian Tent and Waterfall Chandelier

Hi!

We are Douglas and Susan Frost and have been dealing in Antique Chandeliers and Lighting for over 25 years. Perhaps you might know us from our previous location in Downlands Lane, Copthorne, or previous even to that when Douglas was working from the Old Piggery off the High Street in Balcombe?

.

After a short stint spent abroad, we have returned back to Sussex and re-established the business, now you can find us at our current warehouse and workshop  near Gatwick Airport where we have a number of antique chandeliers and lighting on display together with other antique and vintage items. Our situation is perfect for any clients looking to import or visit by air and we have shipped items to Australia, the US and China, as well as nearer to home, to Ireland and the Continent.
.
Over the years we have restored and supplied antique chandeliers and lighting to many well known retailers within the antiques and lighting businesses, as well as to interior designers and private clients. We have built up a large collection of amazing antique chandeliers and lighting, as well as very hard to find original spare parts (to the envy of our competitors) and gained in depth knowledge from the many important pieces that have passed through our hands over the years, from makers such as Osler, Perry and Murano to Baccarat and Maison Baguès.
.
We have worked on collaborations and projects with retailers and designers and hotels, who have called on our knowledge to design and produce particular lighting solutions in antique patterns, for situations where no suitable antique/s could be sourced or could be found within budget.

.

We have also been involved in moving and installing some of the largest chandeliers on the planet, both antique and contemporary. We installed a whopper of 3 stories in height in a multi million pound property development in Kingston, and taken apart, moved and reassembled large antique chandeliers for Christies.
.
Enough of the bragging, not everyone lives in a stately home or has deep pockets but happily many genuine smaller antique chandeliers can be bought for less than the price of a reproduction or contemporary one. Aside from our ready for purchase items, we are currently working on the restoration of several more affordable options we have in storage to so keep an eye on our site for these details…coming soon.

.

Finally, we hope you will find the time to visit us in person, but we are always happy to advise on all things “chandelier”, whether by phone, email or chat.
